About Metal Toxins

In the 1980's and 1990's the emerging discipline of Neuroscience was beginning to emerge and the link between heavy metal poisoning and mental function began to be made. The heavy metals were being unleashed into the environment by industrialisation and the unfettered use of chemicals in everyday life. Paints, cleaners, batteries, ceramics  and other everyday items introduced new levels of heavy metals.

Today there are literally tens of thousands of articles on the Internet dealing with metal toxicity, too many to link to.

Essentially, the issue is that industrialisation and resultant pollution has created elevated levels of metals which are entering the food chain with drinking water as one of the possible sources.  These metals aggregate over time and exhibit toxicity with possible  symptoms such as ADHD, Alzheimers and many others.

Here are just a couple of links.

A scientific paper showing that metallochemical reactions might be the common denominator underlying Alzheimer’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, prion diseases, cataracts, mitochondrial disorders and Parkinson’s disease.
